There are times when we feel our face could use a little “pick-me-up.” We might look in the mirror and see a new line across our forehead or a little bit of droop in our cheek. It might not be severe enough to warrant a facelift but it certainly isn’t something we’re willing to ignore. In this case, Eric A. Marchant, M.D., FACS offers non-invasive procedures that have virtually no downtime, but also provides cost effective ways to achieve months, and even years, of targeted rejuvenation to your face.
Facelift – Rhytidectomy
Remove excess skin from the cheeks and jowls; may not address fine lines and wrinkles.
A facelift by Dr. Marchant removes excess skin and fat while tightening facial muscles for a more youthful, firm appearance. Advanced facelift techniques utilized by Dr. Marchant can create a lifted, yet natural look. Dr. Marchant will make incisions at the temple, continuing around the patient’s ear, not near the center of the face where scarring would be more prominent. By manipulating the facial muscles and tissue through these incisions, Dr. Marchant can improve the contour of the lower jaw.
Bruising and swelling may be visible for two to three weeks after surgery; however, patients usually begin to feel well several days after receiving their facelift. Facelift patients do not leave our office with harsh or surprised expressions. A qualified facelift surgeon such as Dr. Marchant can achieve results, which will leave you looking naturally rejuvenated. The deep lines, which form between the nose and the corners of the mouth, will be softened.
